Champagne Falls // Giclee Paper Print

I painted this piece almost entirely at this waterfall, up the enchanted Hyalite Canyon near Bozeman. In typical Montana fashion, despite it being mid August, it was freezing cold. Seven hours of numb toes and fingers later, I hiked the three miles out, completely content but so cold. I worked on it on Main Street during a mid summer art walk the following day, and finished it in my studio shortly after. This piece was purchased immediately following, and I feel it has a lot of heart and honestly within, alongside the more fanciful aspects of its turquoise waters and sky.

The 6x18" print comes packaged in a crystal clear sleeve bag with 100% recycled cardboard backing and the 12x36" print has 1.5" white borders and comes rolled in a cardboard tube.
